How lucky am I?! I absolutely love my work.

I get to work at the most amazing venues, be creative and play with flowers all day. What a joy!

30 years ago, I joined my Mum in the family business and its the best decision I’ve ever made. My floral life has been a crazy, incredible journey all summed up in this photo, taken by Emma Lawson. Absolutely drenched by a downpour of torrential rain but the floral arch had to be flowered so the show must go on. Luckily the sun came out just in time for the ceremony, better me getting soaked than the bride!

It is a pleasure getting to know my customer’s, learning your likes and dislikes, discussing the vision you have for your special day and bringing this all together to deliver your dream flowers.

It is such a privilege to be part of your special day and I pride myself on going above and beyond for all my couples.

My creatives juices were topped up last year when I joined the fabulous Amie Bone in London for Fantasia 2, an immersive floral workshop. I am always striving to stay up to date with the latest flowers trends and inspiration so Hay’s Flowers can offer any style or design.

2022 was our busiest year yet with Covid catch ups, but with no sign of business slowing down I am very lucky to have Kim and Susan by my side, they really are my floral angels who work alongside me to deliver your vision and dream florals.
